The Ridgid 25423 SSP-1000 Sump Pump has capacitive water sensor monitors and automatically turns the pump on or off. The top suction intake filters debris for increased reliability. This pump has a 1-1/2-Inch discharge, easy to install and is compliant with building codes. It also has a small footprint which allows it to fit in 9-Inch basins or wider. This sump pump will outlast the competition with its cast iron pump housing impellers abrasion resistance and unitized carbon/ceramic shaft seal. The stainless steel motor housing and impeller plates provide great corrosion resistance. The permanently lubricated sleeve bearing will never need oiling for your convenience and the thermally protected motor automatically resets.
